Red Golden Pheasant

 The golden pheasant, also known as the Chinese pheasant, and rainbow pheasant, is a gamebird of the order Galliformes and the family Phasianidae. The genus name is from Ancient Greek khrusolophos, "with golden crest", and pictus is Latin for "painted" from pingere, "to paint". 

 The Yellow Golden Pheasant (Chrysolophus pictus) is a color mutation of the Red Golden Pheasant, developed in the 1950s by Allesandro Ghigi, and first appeared in the United States about ten years later. The Yellow Golden Pheasant is a similarly caped, or "ruffed," as the Red Golden Pheasant
